Such a HUGE FAN...terrible that ANYONE has to deal with this awful disease...Olivia Newton-John announced this afternoon that she's putting her U.S. and Canadian tour on hold after discovering that she has cancer.
Doctors diagnosed Newton-John with breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum. The singer postponed the first half of her tour two weeks ago because of severe back pain which she thought was sciatica.
Olivia has been touring her inspirational album LIV ON, which is a personal collection of songs about overcoming trauma, including her bout with breast cancer in '92 and the loss of her sister Rona to brain cancer in 2013.
A rep for Olivia says that the star is currently "resting and going through treatment."
