Yahya Abdul-Mateen who currently stars in the HBO sequel series to Watchmen.
He is also known as Black Manta from Aquaman. In a recent interview Yahya Abdul-Mateen said that Aquaman 2 is happening.
"Aquaman 2 is happening and we can look for that, I believe in 2022. Black Manta will be back and hopefully he will be causing a lot more trouble" he confirmed.
Jason Momoa is also excited for Aquaman 2 because its the first time where it is all on Earth. It is combining land and sea. According Jason Momoa, Aquaman 2 is mapped out and ready to go, all thanks to his imagination.
The movie is set for December 16, 2022.
