In an effort to make the Instagram social media platform more "well rounded" they will test hiding "likes" on some accounts.
In several posts on Twitter, the folks at Instagram gave more details into the decision to do the test. They let users know that testing went well in Brazil, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Japan, and New Zealand.
The folks at Instagram also let users know that they are working on ways to help creators who depend on "likes" to show the value of their accounts.
