The world is still mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant.

A public memorial has been set for the legendary Los Angeles Laker. Fans will be able to pay their respects on February 24th at the Staples Center.

Kobe Bryant died with his daughter, Gianna Bryant and 7 others following a helicopter crash last month.

The date 2/24 can be viewed as symbolic as Kobe wore number 24 during the later part of his NBA career, while Gianna wore the number 2 during her youth basketball teams.

There has not yet been a formal announcement about the memorial service, what time it will occur or tickets that will be available to the public.
