Well, is this officially the beginning of the Jetsons era? We've been promised flying cars, and casual space travel in our future, and now SpaceX is saying the "future"...is 2021.
SpaceX has announced they have just signed a deal to put tourists into orbit. First of all, I'm trying to imagine who typed up that contract, and what it says.
So, the word is that in late 2021, SpaceX will be able to take up to 4 passengers in an orbital, for up to 5 days. I have so many questions.
Could you imagine being in a vehicle that small, for 5 days? Where do you go to the bathroom? Where do you clean? I imagine people start smelling pretty ripe in such small quarters.
On the other hand, I have some people I wouldn't mind shipping off to space.😋
