Meghan Markle Shares A Rare Update About 10-Month-Old Archie

The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex Visit South Africa

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in London for their final round of royal engagements before officially stepping down at the end of the month. While attending the Endeavour Fund Awards on Thursday (March 5), Meghan gave a rare update about 10 month old Archie Mountbatten-Windsor. Though his parents are currently in England, Archie stayed behind in Canada.

Meghan was chatting with fellow Endeavour Fund attendee Claire Spencer, whose husband, Lee "Frank" Spencer, was nominated for an award at the ceremony, when she gave an adorable update on Archie. After the event, Claire recalled the Duchess of Susssex said: "[Meghan] said 'oh yes, well he is ten months now and is into everything.'"

Though Meghan and Harry do their best to keep Archie out of the public eye, a few sweet facts about their son have been shared over the past year. “You can tell Archie’s going to be a confident social butterfly,” a source once told Us Weekly. “He loves being entertained and interacting with people. Some children get shy or nervous around new people, but not Archie. He’ll go to anyone without kicking up a fuss!”

Archie is also reportedly quite fond of his dad. “When Harry walks into the room, Archie gets so excited, he puts his arms out — his way of saying, ‘Pick me up!’" the source continued. "He’s at his happiest when he’s around people. [He] rarely cries. … He takes a keen interest in his surroundings and is already engaging and interacting with people. He loves to be entertained. And he isn’t a needy baby.”

Perhaps Harry and Meghan will bring Archie along on their next visit back to the U.K., especially because Queen Elizabeth is hoping to see him soon, too.
