Empire State Building Goes Dark To Honor George Floyd

As we all know, the Empire State Building in New York City always changes the color and pattern of its lights to celebrate, mourn or acknowledge what's happening in the world.

This time, to honor George Floyd the building shut its lights off completely. They even tweeted out and said "The Empire State Building is dark tonight to recognize the tragic murder of George Floyd, injustice in all of its forms and all of its victims, and to urge an end to the damage to our great city and its people, there is enough loss and sorrow already."
