40,000 Cruise Ship Workers Were Stranded At Sea Amid COVID-19

Months into the COVID-19 pandemic, cruise ship workers remain stuck at sea.

100,000 workers were stuck on the cruise ships when the industry shut down in March. As of right now 42,000 remain, blocked by red tape in countries like the Bahamas! These workers have not been paid since April or have tested positive for COVID-19 themselves.

As of right now the cruise ship industry is on hold until July 24th and might not sail again until August.
