Bahamas Lifts Ban On U.S. Visitors

The Bahamas were closed to U.S. visitors after COVID-19 cases began to rise last week.

Now, the ban has been lifted but if you plan on visiting the Bahamas, here's how it will work. If you are planning on taking a trip, you are subject to a 14 day quarantine at a government facility. Then, the traveler will have to pay for the expense.

If you are over the age of 11, you will need to present a negative coronavirus test taken ten days or less prior to travel. The island also has a 7:00 p.m. curfew and all public and private beaches are closed.
