Financially Strapped Pet Owners Can Get Free Pet Food In LA Here!

Thank GOD for animal lovers! It's been an ESPECIALLY tough time for MOST folks during this never ending pandemic! With so many out of work, struggling financially to pay bills/rent...that also includes needing help to cover food for the household and our beloved pets ;/ THANK YOU to the LA DEPARTMENT of ANIMAL SERVICES and GENEROUS ANIMAL LOVERS WHO HAVE BEEN DONATING $$ AND FOOD!! They just announced they are EXPANDING their pet food pantry program, to provide even FURTHER ASSISTANCE in offering FREE PET FOOD to those in need EVERY WEEK now, instead of just twice a month. Just added: Superbowl Sunday, February 7th...food will be available for pickup from 1 pm-4 pm, for those who made appointments. 

Wet and dry food is available for up to three cats and/or dogs per household.  Food will be given out at two L.A. Animal Services locations:

-- Chesterfield Square/South Los Angeles at 1850 W. 60th St.

-- East Valley at 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys.

Participants must provide the name, weight, sex, and animal license number if applicable of their pet when registering. Animals must be spayed or neutered to receive food, and pet owners can also obtain a discount or free spay/neuter voucher from L.A. Animal Services.
