Are you ready for a handheld cereal treat?
Krispy Kreme is known for partnering with other name brand treats (think Twix and Oreo) to create a sweet treat packed inside a doughnut, but the iconic doughnut shop is doing it again with Cinnamon Toast Crunch to make cereal milk doughnuts!
The makers of Cinnamon Toast Crunch were on these delights before as a topping. Now, they have three completely reimagined doughnuts to treat your taste buds. The Cinnamon Milk Glazed Doughnut is a regular glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut, but the glaze is made with actual Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Then, take that doughnut, and add Cream Cheese which has an additional topping of cream cheese icing and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal pieces, then finally sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. The third option is the Cinnamon Milk Glazed Doughnut with Dulce de Leche which changes the cream cheese icing for a dulce de leche icing.
Of course, as will all cool things in pop culture, this is a limited time item. The special edition doughnuts will also come in a cool cereal-style box that has a word search on the back, just like your favorite breakfast packaging!
