Walt Disney World Parks Will Be Closing Tomorrow Ahead Of Hurricane Ian

Hurricane Ian is approaching the East Coast quickly and has just hit Cuba earlier today (September 27th). It is expected to hit Florida and the areas that will be in the eye of the storm are Tampa and Orlando. With that being said, many places in Florida are closing down and even the Tampa International Airport is canceling flights.

Today, Disney Parks and Walt Disney World posted onto their social media accounts an update regarding their theme parks, which will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday, September 28th and ending on Thursday, September 29th. Below are the places closed for Walt Disney World:

  • Magic Kingdom Park
  • EPCOT
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
  • Winter Summerland Miniature Gold
  • Fantasia Gardens
  • Fairways Miniature Golf
