Happy Halloween!
If you are going trick-or-treating tonight with your family or if you are chaperoning kids, you'll need to take some precaution to stay safe. Below are some safety tips to remember before you go out for Halloween, provided by the Auto Club of Southern California:
- put reflective tape on costumes or anywhere else that is visible so drivers can see them
- make sure the kids can see out and around their eyeholes when wearing their costumes
- make sure the kids know pedestrian safety rules before you leave the house (ex: look both ways when you cross)
- when driving in a neighborhood with children present, make sure you drive slow and are extra cautious
