Lizzo has been very open about her fitness journey in recent months and continues to update fans on how she's feeling, most recently revealing everything she eats in a day to shed pounds and feel her best.
The "Good As Hell" icon shared a video to Instagram on Thursday (October 10) detailing her daily diet while offering compassionate advice to viewers testing out new, healthy lifestyle options.
"Someone suggested I try a Japanese diet because it’s one of the healthiest diets in the world, and it has some of my favorite foods. I indulged in fresh sushi and fluffy egg and was amazed how good my body felt the next day." The star continued, explaining why she chose to reintroduce animal protein in her diet.
"After tests and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight, and helped with my mental fog."
Despite recent lifestyle changes, Lizzo still aspires to be vegan again one day.
"I do believe that the vegan diet is the healthiest diet to have and I aspire to one day be a raw, alkaline vegan. Until then, this is the diet that’s helped me reach my goals and help me feel good in my body." As for what fans eat to feel their best, the "About Damn Time" songstress is not in the business of judging.
"I'm not gonna judge you. Do what’s best for you in your life at that moment. All that matters is that you’re happy. And if you’re happy, I’m happy."
A few meals that Lizzo currently eats each day as part of her new and improved routine include grilled chicken and asparagus, and egg white cups, cauliflower hash-browns, and fruit!
