Garry Allmon is making sure his son gets the recognition he deserves!
Josh Allmon is a graduate of East Wake High School in North Carolina and would have been named Valedictorian, but the school district decided to do away with naming a valedictorian and replace it with the Latin honors ranking system as a "better way to recognize students who may have barely missed being named valedictorian or salutatorian by several decimal places."
So Garry purchased a billboard in town that says, "Congrats Josh Allmon. You will always be out Valedictorian. - Family & Friends East Wake HS Class of 2018."
