New Apple Made To Last A Year Before Going Bad

Fruit lovers REJOICE!!! Finally...no bad apples in your house, thanks to some pretty smart folks at Washington State University's fruit tree breeding program. The apples are a 'cross-hybrid' of the Enterprise and Honeycrisp apples...engineered to STAY CRISP for up to a YEAR! It took a few decades to develop but they did it! Reports say the launch of the new Cosmic Crisp apple cost around $10 MILLION dollars with the apples expected to hit grocery stores here in the U.S. later on this week. Apples are the second highest selling fruit in the U.S. right behind bananas...be on the look at stores soon!! Are you going to try one? I DEF want to...one to eat and then one to keep...to see how long it will last...even past a MONTH would be impressive 🙂
