The 11th Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 5pm in Santa Monica, CA at the city's best bars and restaurants to raise money for those in need during the holidays through a partnership with Westside Food Bank. Crawlers are asked to dress in Santa/Holiday attire, either individually or in teams, so that the streets of Santa Monica are filled with merry cheer, such as: Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, Reindeer, Carolers and Santa's Helpers. The Pub Crawl will feature multiple routes with bars on Wilshire, The Pier, Third Street Promenade and Main Street.
Since the crawl began in 2008, the event has raised enough for a half a million meals. For every $5 raised, the Westside Food Bank turns that into 20 meals!
Westside Food Bank is an independent, non-governmental, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 1981, which provides food to social service agencies on the Westside of Los Angeles County. Our food often enables low-income people to stay in their homes, deterring the problem of homelessness, because it saves them from having to make the agonizing choice between paying for rent or food when they can’t afford both.Receiving our food also enables our 70 member-agencies to devote more of their own resources to other ways of helping clients achieve self respect and economic independence.
