Six Flags Theme Parks Getting Ready To Reopen With New Rules

Theme park enthusiasts have been missing our favorite sources of entertainment for MONTHS now, so as some remain closed and others are making plans to obvious changes/protocols will need to be in place AND enforced. Shanghai Disneyland was the first, reopening last Monday, for the first time since being shut down in late January...park tickets sold out immediately...with mandatory temperature checks before entry, social distancing and mask wearing at ALL TIMES unless eating...they also only allowed 24,000 people vs the usual 80,, we'll see if that park can remain open without having an impact on spreading new cases of the virus...other parks have also been busy working on their 'plan' for the post-pandemic future...

Six Flags has announced that amongst many new changes, they will now REQUIRE RESERVATIONS...calling it their 'required guest reservation process' to help 'manage daily attendance levels and avoid overcrowding'...a park spokesperson said the process will take about 5-7 minutes as folks will be asked to visit the , watch a video about their new safety procedures/rules...then pick at day/time of arrival...the new system has yet to be activated...but expect more announcements in the coming weeks/months about the possibility of some Six Flags theme parks coming back into the lives for those who are ready to braaaaave them during all this craziness!
