If you love Porto's Bakery and live in the Northridge area, you soon won't have to go to far to get your favorite potato balls, cheese rolls, or other yummy Porto's sweets and food! And that's because Southern California’s favorite Cuban bakery is getting ready to open at the former Sears Auto Center at the Northridge Fashion Center. To help build up excitement, Porto’s announced recently that it would begin serving up their best-selling pastries at the Northridge Farmers Market, which happens every Wednesday in the mall’s parking lot alongside Tampa Avenue.
The Bakery was originally scheduled to open in December 2020, but the pandemic caused numerous delays. Porto’s first opened in Glendale, then expanded to Burbank, Downey, Buena Park and West Covina. The Northridge bakery will be its first location in the city of Los Angeles.
The new Porto's Bakery in Northridge is now scheduled to open sometime this year! So if you want your favorite Porto's yummy treats, you won't have to wait too much longer!
