Hmmm...at first I thought this was an easy one...Twitter offering up a 'like' or 'don't like' thumbs up or down option for posts and comments...but it seems a bit more complicated than that. Folks commenting on twitter have ALLLL kinds of things to say about it...so far, they are just trying to figure out what it means, if we need it and what impact 'voting up or down a comment' will have.
Here's the scoop...Twitter is working on new upvote and downvote reactions for tweets to accompany the usual options to retweet and reply. According to The Verge Twitter confirmed it was testing the feature for a small group of users on iOS, and it’s already been spotted according to multiple tweets. Twitter, tweeted 'Some of you on iOS may see different options to up or down vote on replies. We're testing this to understand the types of replies you find relevant in a convo, so we can work on ways to show more of them. Your downvotes aren’t public, while your upvotes will be shown as likes'. So, there ya go, you've been warned...what do you think about this possible change?
