This will be a TOUGH one to pull off...not to mention, hard for us die-hard Twilight Saga fans to NOT see 'Bella' here, but actress Kristen Stewart is ALREADY getting praise for her work, playing Princess Diana Spencer, in the upcoming drama about her life titled 'Spencer'. Folks had LOTS to say when she was first cast, but this first teaser, trailer looks GOOOOD! According to Wikipedia...Spencer is an upcoming biographical drama film directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Steven Knight. Based on the later years of the marriage of Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales, the film stars Kristen Stewart and Jack Farthing as Diana and Charles, respectively. Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins also star. Spencer will have its world premiere in-competition at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on 3 September 2021, and is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on 5 November 2021 by Neon.
A description of the film from Neon says...the marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There's eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days...I say KEEP THE TISSUES HANDY TOO! I wonder what her boys think??
