Supporting Those Living In Recovery From Mental And Substance Use


SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL RECOVERYMONTH, A MONTH TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE GAINS MADE BY THOSE LIVING IN RECOVERY FROM MENTAL AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS. BUT THERE IS A LONG WAY TO GO. ONE IN 3 HOUSEHOLDS IS AFFECTED BY ADDICTION. 23 MILLION PEOPLE NOW IDENTIFY AS HAVING A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. THAT'S WHAT THIS MOVEMENT, THIS ORGANIZATION IS DESPERATELY TRYING TO CHANGE.

THIS YEAR, MYFM IS PARTNERING WITH MOBILIZE RECOVERY, LAUNCHED BY THE VOICES PROJECT, FOR “RECOVERY OUT LOUD 2021” – A SPECIAL CONCERT FEATURING MESSAGES OF HOPE AND ADVOCACY.
