Domino's Pizza and Netflix have teamed up for something super fun...a new 'mind ordering app' that will help you get pizza delivered faster just by THINKING ABOUT IT! Ok, not really but wouldn't that be cool? Or too dangerous for us pizza lovers? Ha ok...here's what they ARE doing...this new app is a tie-in to the Season 4 premiere of Stranger Things, which means fans of both the show AND the pizza are probably already freaking out. The app is a first of its kind, immersive experience that will 'transport its test subjects, inside Hawkins National Lab' aka the center of Stranger Things circa 1986. According to Chew Boom, the mind ordering app leverages facial recognition and eye-tracking technology to allow test subjects to use their “powers” to order pizza by making certain facial expressions and head movements. Granted you must have a Pizza Profile with an existing saved Easy Order to play along...so hop on it and try this thing out! Domino’s is also going to put out a retro 1980s pizza box for medium and large pizzas (excluding Handmade Pan pizzas) for a limited time at participating locations nationwide while supplies last.
Season four of “Stranger Things” premieres on Netflix on May 27 (volume one) and July 1 (volume two).
