As family, friends and fans continue to grasp the sudden death of Elvis and Priscilla Presley's only daughter, Lisa Marie after she suffered from a heart attack January 12th, the family has announced plans for a public memorial service at Graceland, Sunday January 22nd 2023.
A rep for the family told Us Weekly: “Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla are grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love honoring their beloved Lisa Marie. A public memorial service has been arranged on the front lawn of Graceland at 9:00 am on Sunday, January 22, in Memphis. Please visit [the official Graceland website] for more information.” In lieu of flowers, Priscilla and her granddaughters requested that those “who wish to send something” do so by donating to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation. The philanthropic organization offers “support to various charitable organizations, especially focusing on arts, education, and children’s programs in the Memphis/Whitehaven area.”
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla, 77, said in a statement at the time. “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss.”
Lisa Marie will be laid to rest at Graceland, next to her son Benjamin Keogh. Her father Elvis and her Grandparents Vernon and Gladys Presley along with Elvis' grandmother and brother are also buried there. Lisa Marie is survived by her mom Priscilla and her three daughters.
