If you're enjoying the nice President's Day holiday off, you might be curious about what's open and closed today! If you're down for some shopping and running errands, you're in luck! Most retail stores will be open, but many corporate offices and government agencies will not be open today.
CLOSED: Banks, the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ will be closed, mail service/post offices. USPS will be closed Monday and will not deliver residential or business mail. However, UPS, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery will be operating as usual. Government agencies; offices at the federal, state, county and city levels will be closed Monday. The DMV, libraries, courthouses and city hall. Federal and state courts will also be closed.
Retail WILL BE OPEN!! Its always good to double check before you drive across town, but most stores and restaurants will be open on President's Day. Walmart, Target, and Costco will be open, as will most supermarkets and you know those furniture stores and mattress stores will be open as they have been advertising BIG SALES today 🙂
