How To Celebrate May the 4th In Los Angeles

Happy 'May the 4th Be With You'!! Also known as 'Star Wars Day' to us die-hard fans, who will be busy finding an extra fun excuse to celebrate our love of ALL things Star Wars. Did you know, it was unofficially observed for decades until 2019, when California lawmakers voted to declare May 4 Star Wars Day in recognition of Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge opening?? I LOVE that! As most know, May IS extra special, as the original Star Wars premiered on May 25, 1977, and its creator, George Lucas, celebrates his birthday on May 14.

Her daughter, actress Billie Lourd will accept the honor on her late mother’s behalf at the ceremony, that begins at 11:30am PST. The event can be livestreamed exclusively at walkoffame.com
