New York City isn’t letting dogs on the subway unless they fit in a bag — citizens are finding hilarious ways around the new rule

The Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City made a new rule that, “No person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container.” Essentially, if your dog doesn’t fit in a bag, you can’t bring your dog on the subway. Subway riders accepted the challenge eagerly and the results are both adorable and hilarious.

The creative riders brought their dogs in every type of “container” ranging from laundry bags to suitcases… and even trash bags!

Here are some of our favorite rebels and their perfectly “contained” dogs.

No one can stop these dogs from getting where they need to go!
