THE LOS ANGELES FIRE DEPARTMENT IS DEDICATED TO SAVING LIVES, FIGHTING FIRES, SAFETY AND PREVENTION, AND BUILDING COMMUNITIES.
The Los Angeles Fire Department encourages you to be prepared in the event of a fire. California endured some of its worst wildfires in the state's history this year, beginning up North and them of course here within the past month.
If you see smoke or fire in your area, immediately report it by dialing 9-1-1. Remember to take note of the location so that the dispatcher can send emergency equipment to the correct location before you hang up.
LAFD Fire Captain sat down with Lisa Foxx on what to do in case of a fire, common fire hazards, and evacuation information.
