Dine, Shop & Share To Feed Kids With No Kid Hungry

This September, No Kid Hungry is launching a campaign that unites brands to help provide meals to kids through consumer donations. The need is greater than ever with millions more children and families struggling with hunger this year due to the coronavirus. We will be asking the public to Dine, Shop or Share for No Kid Hungry to help so many kids and now families in need.  Food is the most important school supply a child can have. It helps them learn, focus and thrive. But 1 in 4 kids in the United States could face hunger this year because of the coronavirus...but we can help!

No Kid Hungry is a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Through a combination of emergency grants, strategic assistance, advocacy and awareness, No Kid Hungry is helping feed kids, both during this crisis and in its aftermath. When you dine, shop or share with brands that support No Kid Hungry, you can help kids in need. Learn how by visiting NoKidHungry.org/DineShopShare.

Aired August 30, 2020. On this show, Lisa Foxx talks to Kathy Saile from No Kid Hungry. As their California Campaign Director, she knows all too well about the impact this virus and pandemic has had on the kids and their families first hand. We discuss the strides made before March with so many incredible programs in place with schools up and down the state. While it's heartbreaking to have gone 'backwards' a bit, we know we can pull together to get kids fed by feeding them with fuel to still do their best in school, even with all the temporary changes. One way to start is by clicking on the link to discover all the easy ways to give back and make a difference!
