Amazon executives are now in talk with mall owner Simon Property Group to turn some of the country's closed Sears and JC Penney stores into fulfillment centers.
Since most JC Penny and Sears stores have closed down, this could be a way to bring back more jobs of their former employees. It would also mean your Amazon delivery could come faster! Simon Property Group owns 108 malls in the country as of 2016, it's not yet confirmed how many are being considered by Amazon fulfillment centers.
