American Airlines just announced that they are working toward the process of resuming hot food service in their airport lounges.
The ongoing pandemic has caused the industry to suspend certain services. Forbes reported that by August 12th, hot food will be served in the lounges once again. Instead of buffet-style, customers will not be allowed to serve themselves. They will need to order from behind acrylic dividers and American Airlines staff will serve their food.
Members will wear masks, gloves and practice social distancing.
