The official ribbon cutting ceremony for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood will be held Tuesday, which is a few days before the venue's first event!
After four years and a few billion dollars over the original budget, the venue is set to host the Rams Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys. The chargers will be playing their first game there against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 20th. There will be no fans in the stadium due to the ongoing pandemic.
As of right now, it's unsure when fans will be able to attend games at the new stadium. It will be able to fit up to 10,000 people. In the center of the stadium, you'll find the largest video screen inside any sports arena.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is not opened to the public.
Are you excited to attend when it's safe to do so?
