Walmart is now redesigning their stores for the smartphone. Now their stores will work more like the Walmart app.
There will be a new bigger signage and a new store directory. Shoppers will then be encouraged to download and use the Walmart app while shopping to help them find the products they need more quickly with aisle-number combinations.
You'll also find features like contactless payment and 'Scan & Go' options. This is their latest attempt to go after Amazon's business model.
