Due to the ongoing pandemic, Thanksgiving will be looking different this year. Surveys conducted by the holiday food supply like Butterball, Hormel and Kroger found that Americans are planning for a smaller gathering this year.
Since we still need to practice social distancing, large gatherings probably will not be happening this year. So now, in anticipation of customer demand, supermarkets are stocking smaller turkeys.
Many farmers are trying to harvest turkeys earlier than normal to get smaller birds.
