There's a chance that Al Fresco dining may become permanent option in LA!
It was launched back in May as a way to allow restaurants to operate outdoors and sidewalks during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. According to officials, 2,000 restaurants are participating!
As of right now, they stated that the Al Fresco program received positive feedback from all restaurants, diners and neighborhoods near by. If it does become permanent, that means that there would be a streamlined permitting process, and ensuring that outdoor seating doesn't obstruct public sidewalks.
Do you think this would be a good idea?
