The traditional 2021 Rose Parade is canceled this year, but viewers will still get the chance to watch a two-hour TV special on New Year's Day.
Originally, the cancelation announcement was made back in July due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but fans love the annual tradition so much that there will be a two-hour TV special broadcast on New Year's Day. According to the Tournament of Roses association, they stated that it will include live-to-tape musical and marching band performances, heartwarming segments and celebrity guest appearances.
You'll even see floats from years past and behind-the-scenes look in not the making of the flower displays that are a trademark of the parade.
