Disney and Pixar just announced their upcoming film, Lightyear which is the original story about one of our favorite Toy Story characters, Buzz Lightyear.
The film will follow the journey of the young test pilot who becomes the space ranger, Buzz Lightyear that we know today. Chris Evans is set to voice the young pilot and the film is set to be released on June 17th, 2022.
Evans wrote "Working with Pixar is a dream come true. I've been a massive fan of their films since the very beginning. My team could barely contain their excitement when they told me that Pixar had a pitch for me. All they said was 'Buzz Lightyear.'
