Experts are warning against sharing photos of your vaccination cards on social media and here's why.

The card you are posting contains sensitive personal information that scammers use to steal your identity. Government agencies also say to watch out for fraud schemes taking advantage of the pandemic.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, they stated "Photos of COVID-19 vaccination cards should not be shared on social media. Posting content that includes your date of birth, health care details, or other personally identifiable information can be used to steal your identity."
