A teen who fought off a mama bear and her cubs received a special honor.
17-year-old Hailey Morinico who saved her dogs from the bear was honored with the "Tough Award" at a ceremony that took place in Ontario. This is typically for first responders, but this is the first time the company has presented a civilian hero award.
Morinico stated "It's just so crazy. I didn't think that my actions would lead to this point really. It's really just an honor to even be here today."
