Dole just announced a limited recall of their fresh blueberries due to a potential Cyclospora contamination. There have been no illnesses in connection with the recall have reported at the time of publication. Cyclospora is parasite that can lead to an intestinal infection called Cyclosporiasis. Individuals can become infected after consuming contaminated food or water.
Dole Blueberries are available in grocery stores in clear clamshell containers and you can spot the product lot code on the top label in black ink.
