Save your (excited) tears! The Weeknd is now creating an HBO series with Euphoria's Sam Levinson.
It's titled "The Idol" and is being co-created by The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim. Tesfaye will star, co-write and executive produce the series which will follow a female pop star and her relationship with an LA nightclub owner.
The Weeknd has previously worked on the animated series, American Dad and Robot Chicken.
