Alcohol brands have only been able to ship their offerings through private shipping companies like UPS and FedEx, but never USPS.
But this may be changing soon! Congress is now revisiting their decision to prevent the carrier from including alcohol shipping in their services offered. This would allow USPS to mail wine, beer and other spirits directly from their licensed producers to those who are of legal drinking age in the U.S. that allow direct-to-consumer alcohol shipping.
This is being reconsidered after the pandemic since Americans are taking advantage of getting household items delivered.
