Ariana Grande enjoyed her experience as a judge on The Voice, but has no desire to ever return to the show.

The "7 Rings" songstress recently sat down with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers of iHeartRadio's Las Culturistas podcast to discuss the future of her career, past musical ventures, and so much more.

Aside from getting candid about her "scary" next career move, Grande spoke about her time as a judge on the 21st season of The Voice in 2021, citing emotional attachment.

"I got so emotionally attached to everyone. That's my problem. I love everyone so much. I love meeting people, and I felt so invested. And I still do, like I see them all on Instagram."

Grande revealed that she felt a little spread thin and that it was difficult to "get in there with everyone" and give individual contestants the time and care she felt necessary.

The "We Can't Be Friends" songstress also announced scary plans to "shift" her career away from pop music and towards musical theatre for the time being.

"I love musical theater, reconnecting with this part of myself who started in musical theater and who loves comedy. And it heals me to do that, finding roles to use these parts of myself and put them in little homes and characters and bits and voices and songs."

Despite her growing love for musicals, the star still plans to "do pop stuff" while sharpening her already unmatched theatre skills, as seen in Wicked, released on November 22nd.
