Zack Snyder Reveals Jared Leto's "Justice League" Joker!

Comic book fans, rejoice: the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League is coming to HBO Max on March 18th.

In the original theatrical version (which was released November 2017) Jared Leto's Joker character was noticeably absent - but in the upcoming new cut of the film, Batman's nemesis is on full display.

If you're unfamiliar, the original release of Justice League was met with criticism and negative reviews. Original director Zack Snyder stepped down from the production to deal with the death of his daughter; the film was then taken in a new direction by Joss Whedon, who stepped in during post-production. Whedon was credited with rewrites, reshoots, and a shift in the film's tone.

Since then, fans have petitioned for Zack Snyder's vision of the film. In early 2020, Warner Bros decided to move ahead and greenlight the project - a version of the film as intended by Snyder prior to his stepping down from the production.

The "Snyder Cut" was completed with an extra 70 million dollars in reshoots and editing; the new version will hit HBO Max next month.
