This Airport Lounge Is On The Beach!
Flight delays just got a little more enjoyable! It’s all thanks to Virgin Holidays Departure Beach in Barbados. For passengers traveling from Grantley Adams International Airport, Virgin Holidays picks up guests at their hotel and brings them straight to Departure Beach, which is a spot on Brownes Beach. From there, staffers help with check-in and baggage drop, leaving you time to relax.

There’s a full-service bar, free lunch, video games in the air-conditioned lounge and free Wi-Fi all the way down to the beach. They even have showers so you can get rid of the sand before hopping on the plane. Once you’re ready to go, staff will take you to the airport to board your flight.
The travel company says Virgin Holidays Departure Beach is exclusive to people who booked a package through Virgin Holidays. It's $33 for adults and $24 for kids. It’s free if you stay at the Savannah Beach Hotel and for Virgin Holidays Cruise passengers whose final destination is Barbados.
