For those who decided to loot the Apple Store at The Grove in Los Angeles thought they hit the jackpot looting devices like iPhones and laptops. However, the joke is on them because the Apple has top of the line security and the stolen phones and laptops are actually only demos and they come with special programs that prevent the products from being reset to factory settings so they have become basically useless. The looters have figured it out already because the looted phones are now displaying messages saying, "This device has been disabled and is being tracked. Local authorities will be alerted." According to TMZ, the looters who ransacked The Grove over the weekend were unable to break into the Apple Store's highly-secured area, where the actual items for sale are kept.
