We are all ready for things to get back to normal and the dating app Tinder wants users to safely get back out there in the in-person dating game. Tinder just announced that it will give away 1,000 free COVID-19 tests to 500 Tinder matches so that they can safely meet in person. Tinder has partnered with Everlywell, a company that makes at-home tests, which typically sells each test for $109. According to the dating app's announcement, "more than 40% of Tinder users under the age of 30 said they hadn’t met up with a match in person in October last year."
Starting on Saturday (3/20) at 7p.m. ET, Tinder users in the U.S. will be able to claim a code for their free tests on the app. You'll be able to request two tests, which will be one for yourself and one for your match. The tests will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis and will start shipping out on Monday, March 22nd.
