While we're all wearing masks, one thing that can be pretty annoying is that our Face ID doesn't recognize us to unlock our iPhones. Well this is now a problem of the past because Apple just released its newest iOS software update that now gives you a Face ID with a face mask option. Apple users with an iPhone 12 or newer device may be able to use face identification even when they’re wearing a mask. When you set up Face ID, it will take several detailed pictures of your face so that it analyzes your entire face to know that it's you to unlock your phone. The Face ID with a mask feature works the same way, but it will recognize important and unique features of your face like your eyes, your glasses, the top of your nose, birthmarks or freckles on your forehead, etc.
Are you happy about this new iPhone update?
