The talented, legendary Alicia Keys stopped by Valentine in The Morning to talk all things summer touring, creating a musical for 13 years and her latest security guard (you won’t believe who it is).
We couldn’t chat about Alicia’s United States tour without taking a deep dive into the intricacy of her stage set up. From multiple Yamaha pianos decked out in sparkles, to a moving stage where fans get the ultimate 360 Alicia Keys experience, the 'Keys to The Summer' Tour is one not to miss. As the tour comes to an end, we asked Alicia if there is anything she would miss from her month of travel... her relatable answer - “I can’t say I will be depressed about doing nothing”.
Speaking of touring, Alicia had a special guest accompany her at her Seattle performance, eight year old son Genesis. The sweet moment shared between mother and son took place during the encore where Genesis stood by Alicia’s piano, a moment that has now been reported as the hiring of a new security guard. Alicia mentions her son even had his croc’s in sport mode, ready for action. Hilarious!
